Aquatic Therapy

helps patients heal and exercise more comfortably.

Sports Pro Physical Therapy is pleased to offer our patients the benefits of Aquatic Therapy in our private heated indoor pool. Aquatic Therapy has been recognized as a means to returning patients to functional levels, at a faster pace, due to a more comfortable environment in which exercise is initiated. Our pool is kept at a temperature of 92 degrees, which is recommended for optimal warm water exercising. Patients with various conditions such as back pain, knee arthritis, and post-op surgeries can benefit from aquatic therapy.

Our therapists develop individualized treatment plans for your patients utilizing the properties of buoyancy and water resistance. The treatment plan will identify the goals of treatment, interventions, frequency and duration. Our ultimate goal is to have every patient function at their highest level on land. Therefore, land therapy is often provided in conjunction with aquatic therapy to maximize the rehabilitation benefits.
